Great Value Chicken Finger Dipping Sauce Review: The Aldi Sauce Replacement I Didn’t Expect
I normally grab the popular chicken dipping sauce from Aldi whenever it’s in stock, because honestly it’s one of the better fast-food-style sauces you can buy at a grocery store. But lately my Aldi either keeps selling out or just doesn’t carry it consistently, so I decided to try the Walmart version everyone keeps talking about. And surprisingly… it’s really good. The first thing I noticed was how close the flavor is to Raising Cane’s sauce. It has that creamy peppery taste with a little tang, a hint of smoke, and enough seasoning to make frozen chicken tenders taste way better than they should. It’s not exactly the same as the Aldi sauce I usually buy, but it scratches the same itch. The Aldi version is a little sweeter and smoother to me, while this Great Value version has more black pepper and a slightly bolder flavor.
