Garage Storage Upgrade That Actually Helped Organize Everything
Since I don’t have a shed, my garage has to hold pretty much everything — yard tools, ladders, extension cords, shovels, rakes, and still leave enough room for me to actually park my car inside.
Over time, things started piling up along the walls and corners, so I decided to install a wall storage rack system to free up some floor space and get everything organized.
After mounting it, I was able to hang:
multiple ladders
shovels
rakes
extension cords
other long-handled tools
and it’s been holding everything really well so far.
The biggest difference is how much cleaner and more open the garage feels now. Instead of tools constantly falling over or taking up space on the ground, everything finally has a place. It also made it much easier to keep enough room available to park my car inside without squeezing around equipment.
Installation was pretty straightforward as long as you take the time to mount it into the wall studs. Once installed, it felt sturdy enough for heavier items like ladders without any problems.
If you’re short on storage space like I am and need your garage to do double duty, this wall storage rack has definitely been worth it for organizing tools and reclaiming floor space: https://amzn.to/4us4rFR
